Balance and rest

Hello, I am Marien Bakker and I have been working as a visual artist since 1980.
I had my creative education at the academy for visual arts in Utrecht, graduated as a furniture designer. In that capacity I was able to build a life. At the same time I draw, paint and exhibit. This is a "must" for me.
The art that has emerged from both fields has most to do with the minimalism of Sol Lewitt, but also with the music of Philip Glass and Steve Reich. It is striking that all these people, but also I, cherish sympathy for Buddhism and therefore allow the intrinsic,  mantras and repetitions to be decisive in order to create balance and tranquility; to be focused.
